Pink Ewok

Silly Girl!
Who knew a sweatshirt could be so much fun!
We were on the pier at 32nd street after visiting Uncle Matt and Tatum wanted to wear my sweatshirt. She was walking around in this huge thing just giggling. She looks like a pink ewok to me. She is so funny

Jonas Brothers!

Savanna seeing Nick on stage! This look made it worth every penny!
This is Nick. Savanna's favorite Jonas brother

Self Portrait at the concert
Oh my goodness... yes I braved and survived the Jonas Brothers concert with Savanna. We had a lot of fun but not as much fun sa we had at the Hilary Duff concert. I am pretty sure that one ruined her for all future concerts. For those of you who don't know I took her to Hilary Duff last year we had amazing 9th row seats and she got to meet her backstage. Needless to say the floor seats in section F (which stand for far away) 15th row where not that great. She was too short to see anything except what was on the monitors. At least she can say she was there. My ears are still ringing from all the screaming!

Just some fun pictures of the little girls

She is so cute!
Climbing on up!
New Bed! TJ designed and built this for Tatum. She loves it. Now he just has to finish Savanna's.
One of the last days spent in the race car bed.
I can't beleive this it. My last baby.
Watching TV in Mommy's room. Genesee looks like she is actually watching tv!
Her bow seems to have slipped!

Trick or Treating

I love her costume!
Sleepy Bat.
He is such a good Daddy!
I think we need a couple more kids for him to carry!

Lunch on the Lawn

This is Savanna and her "Little Buddy". Each 5th grader gets a first grader that they get to mentor and do fun activites with. Savanna's little buddy just adores her! What's not to love. Every year at Savanna's school they do a lunch on the lawn, where the parents come a bring a picnic lunch to eat with their kids. This year it happened to be on Halloween. We are going to miss Crest Elementary and all it's cute traditions.

Halloween Parade at Tatum's school

Tatum and her friend. Aren't they cute!
Ms. Nancy's class ready for the Halloween Parade!
Getting ready for the parade. Check ou the pumpkin. How cute is he!

Halloween

Girlies all ready for trick or treating!
Family pumpkins all done!
Savanna hard at work on her pumpkin. She did an original design this year instead of using a pattern. Tatum is "carving" her own pumpkin. I found these golf tee like things that she hammered into the pumpkin and the glowed like lite brites! It was totally cool, because she did her pumpkin by herself!
Baby bat. Isn't she cute!

Preschool

She asked her teacher a couple times during the day if I was coming to get her but other than that she did great! I snapped a picture right as I walked in the room.  Her friend Jacob gave her a pumpkin. She was very excited about it. Here she is outside of Ms. Nancy's room. What a big girl! Tatum started preschool and she was so excited about it. Can you tell?

TJ's new truck

1966 Ford F100 4x4
This past weekend my husband found a truck on Craigslist that he couldn't live with out. Promising to sell his other truck and the look on his face convinced me to agree to this prurchase. He was ecstatic! Look at those faces...Pure joy!

Miramar Airshow

The Marines loved Tatum. They thought she was a riot. This picture isn't a far cry from Tatum's personality. Savanna thought it was fun to dress up but wasn't about to get her face painted!
                       FULL FACE CAMO!
While we were walking around we found some young Marines who were painting faces. They had a couple designs to choose from like butterflies, american flags, stars, hearts and.... We went to the Miramar Airshow last weekend. After waiting in line on the freeway for about an hour and a half we finally got there and had to park a LONG way away from the flight line. Luckily for Tatum her Uncle Matt was there to give her a ride. She is toally relaxed up there. She even has arm rests!

My wonderful husband!

As many of you know I have had a pretty rough week (actually 10 weeks). Tatum is having a bit of a hard time adjusting to our new schedule due to the addition of her sister. Tuesday was the culmination of all the tension and stress between Tatum and I and we both spent most of the day in tears. Today when I got home from class I found an FTD box on my porch from my wonderful hubby. It was just what I needed. I love you TJ!

Sleepy girls

Right before nap time Tatum tells me "I'm not tired Mommy. I am just going to read my book."
Daddy was dancing with me in the kitchen and I fell asleep.

Genesee

What exactly is that flashing red light for Mom?
Happy Baby! Isn't she precious!

Firefighters visit Tatum's school

I've got all my stuff Mom! Looking cool in my new "fighter fighter" hat.
He's not scary! I'll give him a high five!
All lined up watching the Firefighters talk about their truck!
We love it when Genesee sleeps through circle time. It gives us some special Mommy- Tatum time.
Tatum listening intently to what Ms. Karen has to say.

Field trip to Peter Piper Pizza

Tatum and her friends got to tour Peter Piper Pizza and learn how pizza is made. The kids had a lot of fun and surprisingly paid attention to what the lady was telling them.
