Sleepy Baby

I am sorry for getting so behind on this and I promise to try to do better. I have some softball pictures left to upload and those will be done soon. It is currently 1am and I am beat so I am off to bed. Here is one last picture of my prcious Genesee. She fell asleep after lunch while I was washing up her lunch dishes. 

Cajon Valley honoring our Lt. Colonel

After receiving the Lt. Colonel award we were contacted by the school board for El Cajon and they asked to have Savvy come to a governing board meeting to receive recognition from them for being selected to represent them at the Colonel selection interviews.

Here Dr. Martin Jacquez (Savvy's principal) and Dr. Janice Cook (the superintendent) are recognizing Savanna with an award

Lt. Colonel

Savanna was selected as Captain of the Safety patrol for her Elementary school this year. Which was an incredible honor. Along with that came an opportunity to interview in front of a selection board for the opportunity to represent our school district in a county wide competition for Colonel of the San Diego County Safety patrol. Savanna interviewed and was selected to be one of two to represent Cajon Valley in the Colonel selection process. The second round of interviews ended in the selection of the Colonel, two Lt. Colonels, and six majors. Savanna was selected to be Lt. Colonel! We are so proud of her!!!

Military Father Daughter Dance

The last day of January ( I know so I am a month behind) TJ and the two older girls went to a Father/Daughter Dance at the Marriot. They had a lot of fun despite the fact that the catering staff forget to feed the Dads at my husband's table and table had a melt down because most of the party happend way after her bed time. 

This is Tatum being concerned about her little sister. Tatum was afraid Genesee's feelings were going to be hurt because she was too litlle to go. I think she has been in those shoes one too many times.
